Please note that effective immediately, we will not be offering extended operating hours on Thursday evenings. We will be open from 9:30 am to 5 pm.

Our
number one priority is the health and well-being of our members and employees. Therefore, due to the ongoing concerns about the spread of the Coronavirus, we would like to respectfully ask that our members avoid visiting our branches if any of the following apply:

-You have traveled outside of Canada and recently returned,
-You have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19
- or you are feeling unwell or experience cold or flu symptoms.

We have also put the following measures in place:

-Increased cleaning frequency of surfaces and ATM equipment,
-Hand sanitizer has been made available for public and staff.

We encourage our members who aren't feeling well to take advantage of our digital online, and telephone banking services instead of coming into the branch. If you do not currently have access to our numerous electronic banking services, call your branch and we will be happy to assist you.

Online Banking Safety Tips!

1. Create a strong password.            
Always avoid using any common words or phrases and never create a password that contains your name, initials, or your date of birth.

2. Secure your computer and keep it up-to-date                
Security software is essential these days, regardless of what you use your computer for.

3. Avoid clicking through emails      
No financial institution would send you an email asking you to provide any of your login details.

4. Access your accounts from a secure location        
It’s always best practice to connect to your account using computers and networks you know and trust. Also if our website looks suspicious, check the URL, if it doesn't say gbccu.ca, leave the site and call us immediately.

5. Always log out when you are done              
It is good practice to always log out of your online banking session when you have finished your business. This will lessen the chances of falling prey to session hijacking and cross-site scripting exploits.

6. Set up Direct Alerts
Your bank accounts can never be too safe. For added protection we've added a feature that automatically sends you an email and/or text message to your mobile device and/or computer to alert you of certain changes to your account made through online banking.
